Meet the Leadership Team
Efosa E. Idemudia
Founder & Executive Director, Ọ́málearn Initiative
Efosa Idemudia is an education, youth development, and enterprise development professional with over 20 years of cross-sector experience spanning education, technology, entrepreneurship, and public-private development initiatives.
He is the Founder and Director of Metamorph Youth Leadership Institute (MYLI Africa) and a Part-Time Faculty and Life member at the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC), Pan-Atlantic University, where he supports small and growing businesses and trains executives and entrepreneurs in business development and operations.
Efosa has designed and delivered training, coaching, and learning programmes across Nigeria, working with educators, young people, entrepreneurs, development organizations, and government-supported initiatives. His work includes building learning management systems, developing entrepreneurship and life-skills curricula, and setting up training institutes and innovation hubs focused on youth and educator capacity development.
With a strong background in project management, systems design, and quality assurance, Efosa has led and managed complex, multi-stakeholder programmes across the public and private sectors. He has also served as a Mentor and Panelist on National youth entrepreneurship initiatives and contributed to policy-related and development work at both State and Federal levels.
He is the originator of the Ọ́málearn initiative, driven by a conviction that teachers are central to improving learning outcomes, and that ethical, structured platforms can support teachers to grow professionally while preparing young people for life beyond the classroom.
Ms. Lola Jemibewon
Director of Growth & Community Development, Ọ́málearn
Lola Jemibewon is a development economist, education and leadership professional, and Director of Growth & Community Development at Ọ́málearn.
She brings an international career spanning Africa, Europe, North America, and Asia, with experience in training, organisational development, and youth capacity building across corporate and social impact sectors.
Lola is also the founder of a corporate training platform focused on helping African organisations develop globally competitive talent. Her work is driven by a passion for expanding access to quality education, strengthening human capital, and connecting people to meaningful opportunities.
At Ọ́málearn, Lola focuses on building strategic partnerships, engaging educators and communities, and shaping growth initiatives that support the platform's mission to transform how teachers and learners connect in Nigeria and throughout Africa.
Prof. Esther Oduolowu, B.Ed, M.Ed, Ph.D
Academic & Pedagogical Advisor, Learning Quality & Research Chair
She is a professor and chair of the Department of Early Childhood and Educational Foundation at the University of Ibadan in Nigeria. She has worked for over 26 years in early childhood care and education, curriculum development, capacity building, and advocacy. Esther centers her work around holistic child development in a time when children are vulnerable due to issues such as poverty, pandemic, and closure of learning facilities.
She is the Founding Academic & Pedagogical Advisor and Chair, Learning Quality & Research Advisory Council at Ọ́málearn.
Wayne Veldsman
Director of Communications, Ọ́málearn
Wayne Veldsman is a Strategic Communications and Brand Positioning specialist supporting Ọ́málearn and MYLI Africa. He works closely with the team to clarify messaging, shape how the organizations are presented, and guide communication strategy for growth and visibility.
His role focuses on positioning, content direction, and ensuring consistent, impactful communication as the organizations scale. Wayne is committed to telling Ọ́málearn's story authentically and connecting the mission with stakeholders who can amplify the impact of quality education across Africa.
