1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ọ́málearn platform and services. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Where a user is a minor, a parent, guardian, or authorised school must accept these Terms on the minor’s behalf and is responsible for the minor’s use of the platform.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• You must promptly notify us of any unauthorised use of your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the community.

3. Eligibility & Roles

The platform supports learners, parents and guardians, Teacherpreneurs, and schools. Certain roles, such as Teacherpreneurs and schools, may require identity and credential verification before accessing all features.

4. Payments, Fees & Refunds

Programme fees, subscriptions, and other charges are displayed before you commit to a purchase and are processed through our approved payment providers.

Refunds, where offered, are handled according to the refund terms applicable to the specific programme or service at the time of purchase. Placeholder refund windows and eligibility criteria will be finalised by counsel.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
• Harass, abuse, endanger, or attempt to contact minors outside of sanctioned, supervised learning activities.
• Upload content that is illegal, infringing, misleading, or violates the rights or safety of others.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the platform or other accounts.
• Circumvent safeguarding, verification, or payment mechanisms.

6. Content & Intellectual Property

The platform and its content are owned by Ọ́málearn or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain rights to content you submit, and you grant us a limited licence to host and display it for the purpose of operating the platform.

7. Safeguarding

Ọ́málearn applies safeguarding standards to protect learners. Teacherpreneurs and schools agree to follow child-protection and code-of-conduct requirements. Suspected safeguarding concerns should be reported to us immediately.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ọ́málearn will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Final liability limits and carve-outs will be set by legal counsel.

9. Termination

You may stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are breached or where necessary to protect users or comply with law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
